The business performance of the company
has continuously been satisfactory. Later, LOXLEY bought the shares
back from IBM and increased the registered capital to 100 million
baht. Then, LOXLEY transferred all subsidiary companies operating
IT-related business, including PCC, to be under LOXBIT with a
view to strengthening the business and to becoming the leading
IT provider.
Similar to LOXBIT, the present core
business of PCC is provision of consultation, designing and improvement
of the systems as well as system integration and information technology
networks (SI services), but focusing on provision of turnkey projects
for customers in the public sector, state enterprises and government
agencies via a bidding process. In addition, PCC provides sale
and renting services of hardware and software to small customers
of government agencies and also provides product maintenance services,
which has generated recurring income for the company.
Major past achievements of PCC include,
among others, the 1,800-million baht value-added tax system project
of the Revenue Department and the 150-million baht project of
the Port Authority of Thailand. PCC also has a plan to sell hospital
programs to other government hospitals apart from existing government
hospitals. The company has received ISO 9002, Version 2000, and
operates under the Balanced Scorecard (BSC/KPI) management system
which was adopted in 2002, comprising 4 perspectives: 1. Financial
Perspective 2. Customer Perspective 3. Internal Process Perspective
and 4. Learning & Growth Perspective to bring the efficiency
for PCC’s the management.
